We all have within us a powerful urge to create. Somehow, as we’re growing up, we learn from other’s judgment that we’re either gifted or not gifted in the area of artistic talent. We temper our creative activity based upon those judgments; we want to be accepted. Yet still within us lies the urge to create; to make something from nothing.
What do you think might happen if we all continued to create, regardless of our level of artistic talent? What if we never knew our limits, so we continued to allow our creative energy to spark while we created a series of somethings from nothings? What would our world possibly look like? Can you imagine?
Imagine…if we never had NO in our heads. Imagine if we didn’t know we couldn’t paint like Leonardo. Imagine if we didn’t know we couldn’t create sculptures like Michelangelo. What if we composed music as if we knew we had the talent of Beethoven? Imagine if we just got started without the negative self-talk in our heads and let our creative self get creating. What could we create?
What separates the great creators from us all? There is talent inside each of us, and very often that talent lies dormant because the self-talk holds it down. We are meant to use our minds and our instincts to create big things and to leave behind works that represent our legacy.
We are blessed with limitless possibilities. Creative forces are what make our world flourish and grow. Be a part of the power of creative energy. Share your gifts with the world. Create extraordinary things.
